But, we did something different in today's class. My partner Leah & I would do our last clown design, we both had Tramp faces left, BUT, we would take our designs and put the make-up on one another & also using each others make-up and brushes.
So, I put my design on Leah's face & Leah put hers on mine.
My Design! |
This is the facial outline of my design, no problem with this, probably the easiest part of doing the clown make-up.
Again, the skin tone is soooooo hard for me to figure out.
Not only that but I never seem to make enough paint for the face, which was another struggle of keeping the color the same throughout. But, I did start using the beauty blender to make it more even throughout her face.
So the beard worked out well, still trying to figure out how to make the beard more "beardy", I tried using the beauty blender to make it more of a "hairy" illusion. But, obviously it didn't work.
As for the white eyes, I forgot to outline them before putting the skin tone on which messed it up a little.
We used the white paint for one eye, then tried using the creme white from the kit on the other eye. But, the creme didn't go on well at all. So we just used the white paint, which turned out streaky. So maybe another two coats would have changed that.
I changed the lip color to a lighter pink, just because I wanted the lips to be more accented not hidden.
The eyebrows could have been more sharper in the lines, I need to work on making straight lines and carefully filling it with color, but the color turned out to be perfect.
Other than that I'm glad we are moving on to other make-up's because I really hate clowns!
But here is a great picture of Leah and I together! :)
I've been running into the problem of running out of makeup, too! The pinks look really neat.
