Finally the Final Project!!

Through all the hard work and preparation in class, I will be giving you the step by step of how I did my final project! For my final project I used three things to change my appearance...
1. Original latex appliance
2. Hidden eyebrows
3. Altered form

My final project I will be transforming myself into a fish, specifically Rainbow Fish!! (Pictured below)

Before I did anything with my face, I had to make fish like scales to put on my face, pictured below.

The process of making the scales perfect, was difficult to say the least. At first I was not putting enough latex on the clay model I made. (The clay model of the scales was made from using a button's edge and pressing it into the clay, stacking one by one near each scale)
Then when I thought I put enough latex on the clay, when peeling off the latex (BTW, that was by far the hardest part, only because sometimes it would rip or the latex would clump together) I wasn't powdering on enough translucent powder which made the latex clump together into a ball. (Pictured below)

The picture below is the result of not putting enough powder on the latex. It is hard to see the scales look more 3D.
The picture below is the process of peeling the latex off the clay, this was a perfect peel, I used a ton of translucent powder and it took a lot of time and patience to peel it off.
I made three different scales to put on my face for this project.

Now the final product..

First I started out by cleaning my face.
Then I started with the covering of my eyebrows.
In my last post you can see how I covered them and the steps it takes to do that.
Once my eyebrows were waxed down then I started applying the latex to my face.
I used the same steps as we did when we applied the mustache and eyebrows in the last post.
Once they were applied

Then I started painted my face completely blue and part way down my neck and the side of the neck.
Not only did I used blue on my face but I started contouring with a seaweed like green around the scales and on my mouth.

And the end product...............

IM A FISH
