Becoming Older.. Still Cute Doe!

Today we did the process of aging make-up.
I looked up a women between the ages of 60-70 years old. (Picture below)

We started the process off by concealing our face using our green & yellow concealers.
Green - for redness
Yellow - for bruises, discoloration
** I unfortunately missed class when we learned this, but good old Youtube taught me how to do that stuff, so I almost knew what I was doing!

Anyway, after concealing those mannyyyy flaws, I used the base color (foundation) from my Ben Nye kit. Then started contouring my face, also another product from the Ben Nye kit.
* Again, I wasn't here for the learning of contouring, never have done this before. But, thanks to the book we use for class it was not that hard to figure out.

I feel like I didn't blend the darkening of my face enough, honestly looks like I have dirt on my face but I guess it's suppose to look like that.

Next step was to draw the lines on our face, the aging lines.
The lines on your forehead when you raise your eyebrows, the crows feet beside your eyes, adding a ling across your eye lid, and the lines around your mouth when you smile.

We had to add highlighter above the horizontal lines and inside the vertical lines.

We also were told to use our black sponge & the blood red color and dab it on the tip of the nose and upper cheek bones.
Also added lines on our lips, giving an affect of crackling lips.

The ending product.........

Can't forget Leah!
